In Anything Goes, author Lucy Moore interweaves the stories of compelling
people (e.g. Sacco and Vanzetti) and momentous events (e.g. the Ku Klux Klan
march in Washington D.C.) that characterized the decade to produce a gripping
portrait of the Jazz Age.  She reveals that the Roaring Twenties were more than
just “the years between the wars”.  They were an epoch of passion and change -
an age, she observes, not unlike our own.
